Murphy
Murphy was rescued from the highway after being
injured. He received a spinal injury and was unable to walk. However,
through the generous donation of a past adopter paying for his water
treadmill treatments and the rescuer herself paying for his vet care
Murphy had been improving. He's been on Prednisone since his injury but is
now being stepped down and will be off of it soon. His last water
treatment was Aug.5th. Between the reduced Prednisone dosage and not
having the water treatments Murphy is regressing. It's feared that he will
not recover enough to get treated for heartworms and that will eventually
be life threatening. Murphy has gone through so much in his short life
(about 2 years old) and he deserves to get well and know love and have a
family that adores him. The only way he can is by getting the remainder of
treatments and vet care he needs to make a full recovery. The treatments
are needed now to keep him from further relapsing.
