Update 11/6/08:

After 10 days of Hydrotherapy, Romy is doing great.  Look how fabulously his wound has healed!  The office staff that treated him (and even the vet) thought Romy was WONDERFUL.  He acts like a ragdoll in your arms.  He went home today with a client from the vet office and now has a “sister” to play with that is just about his age.  What a lucky, lucky boy!  He ran into the right volunteer the morning he was injured and was treated by a vet staff who really cared about him and now he is in a loving cat home! Vet cost so far is up to $425.

A PAL Volunteer was feeding the stray cats in her neighborhood when this kitten limped up to her.  He came for help.  The Volunteer rushed him to the vet where he stayed for two nights.  No one is sure what tore him up but we are thankful that he got away and walked up to the right human.  He is recovering and eating well.  Romy is about 5 months old and will be healed up soon and ready for adoption.
